Waiver Wire—Week 10

Luke Falk, QB-Washington State
Starter Connor Halliday has been lost for the season after suffering a broken leg against USC and the freshman now assumes the starting role.  Against the Trojans, Falk passed for 370 yards and two touchdowns on 38-for-57 passing Saturday evening.
Next Three weeks:  @ Oregon State, bye, @ Arizona State

Joshua Dobbs, QB-Tennessee
One week after throwing two touchdown passes and running for 75 yards against Alabama, Dobbs accounted for five touchdowns in the Volunteers’ 45-42 win over South Carolina.  The freshman quarterback has two good matchups in the season’s final three weeks.
Next three weeks:  Kentucky, Missouri, @ Vanderbilt

Synjyn Days, RB-Georgia Tech
Days has now carried the ball 46 times for 257 yards and a touchdowns in the Yellow Jackets’ past two games, and as long as Zach Laskey remains sidelined with a shoulder injury, Days should continue to earn significant touches.
Next three weeks:  bye, @ Wake Forest, @ Georgia Tech

LaJuan Hunt, RB-Utah State
Hunt does not have a body of work and is more of a one-week wonder, but after rushing for 150 yards on 33 carries against Hawaii and with upcoming matchups against Wyoming, New Mexico, and San Jose State, he’s worth a waiver claim, especially if you are starting to plan for the playoff weeks.
Next three weeks:  @ Wyoming, New Mexico, San Jose State

Dalvin Cook, RB-Florida State
Cook’s value seems to be peaking at just the right time as he has proven to be a fantasy factor without a ton of touches.  After last Thursday’s performance at Louisville, expect Cook to earn more touches down the stretch.
Next three weeks:  Virginia, @ Miami, Boston College

Drake Johnson, RB-Michigan
Johnson made the most of his opportunity Saturday, carrying the ball 16 times for 122 yards and two touchdowns in Michigan’s 34-10 win over Indiana.  Expect the hometown product to play a significant role in the Wolverines’ upcoming game at Northwestern this weekend even though he has not been named the starter.
Next three weeks:  @ Northwestern, bye, Maryland

JuJu Smith, WR-USC
Smith was one of our Week 10 Sleeper Picks and the freshman made us proud, catching six passes for 74 yards and three touchdowns Saturday night at Washington State.  Smith has now caught at least six passes, totaled 70 yards receiving, and scored a touchdown in back-to-back games.  After a bye week, the Trojans have another great fantasy matchup when they host Cal in Week 12.
Next three weeks:  bye, Cal, @ UCLA

Devonte Boyd, WR-UNLV
In the absence of Devante Davis, Boyd has been UNLV’s leading receiver in five consecutive games and has now gone over 100 yards in back-to-back games.  In the past three games, Boyd has averaged 8 catches and 104 receiving yards per game.
Next three weeks:  Air Force, @ BYU, @ Hawaii
