Start/Bench—Week 4

Dak Prescott, Mississippi State at LSU
We may not witness one of Prescott’s 40+ point fantasy outings, but he’ll attempt to put the Bulldogs offense on his shoulders and finish the weekend as a Top 20 quarterback.

Driphus Jackson, QB-Rice vs Old Dominion
A home game against Old Dominion should get the offense on track after two tough road games to start the season (Notre Dame and Texas A&M)

Clint Trickett, QB-West Virginia vs Oklahoma
Trickett has been dealing with a hot hand and life has gotten easier for him having targets like Kevin White and Mario Alford.

John O’Korn, QB-Houston vs UNLV
O’Korn was impressive last week at BYU, but he was victimized by a few drops from his receivers.  This week, the Cougars offense should put up some nice numbers at home against UNLV.
Jowan Davis, RB-Rice vs Old Dominion
Davis started to get things going last week when he totaled over 120 yards from scrimmage against Texas A&M.  Not only are we expecting him to top last week’s total, but we are also looking for him to punch one in for six.

Corey Clement, RB-Wisconsin vs Bowling Green
After a bye week, the Badgers should be well rested and both Gordon and Clement should do some damage on the ground against Bowling Green.
Josh Harper, Fresno State vs Southern Utah
Harper has three times more receptions than the next best receiver on the roster, but he has yet to find the end zone.  This week against Southern Utah, Harper has potential to put up some big numbers if the Bulldogs can get some consistent quarterback play.
John Ross, WR-Washington vs Georgia State
Ross has done a lot with just a few touches and this week the trend should continue with a not-so-tough home game against Georgia State.
Demarcus Robinson, WR-Florida at Alabama
We are not expecting the Gators to put a scare into the Crimson Tide, but if the games goes as predicted, Robinson could have his number called often and should be a nice play in PPR leagues.

KeVonn Mabon, WR-Ball State at Toledo
In the absence of Jordan Williams, Mabon leads the team in receptions with 22, and the Cardinals may find themselves in a shootout this weekend at Toledo.

James Knapke, QB-Bowling Green at Wisconsin
Knapke has attempted over 100 passes in two games as the Falcons starting quarterback, but his offensive snaps will be tapered down this week when Bowling Green visits Wisconsin.
Drew Hare, QB-Northern Illinois at Arkansas
Hare rewarded fantasy owners that took a chance on him last week at UNLV, but the competition will get much stiffer in Week 4 when the Huskies travel to Fayetteville to take on the Razorbacks.
Jawon Chisholm, RB-Akron vs Marshall
The Zips are looking to jumpstart the running game and Chisholm has been underwhelming through two games.  We were high on the senior running back in the preseason, but those expectations are fading fast.

Hosey Williams, Cincinnati vs Miami (OH)
Williams was slapped with a misdemeanor earlier in the week for disorderly conduct while intoxicated.  Supposedly, the matter has been dealt with internally, but that has left many to guess Williams’ fate this weekend, which is bad news for fantasy owners.

Shaun Wilson, Duke vs Tulane
The Blue Devils have played one of the easiest schedules in the nation through three games and we are not ready to go all-in with the freshman running back after only 21 carries this season.

Matt Jones and Kelvin Taylor, RBs-Florida at Alabama
It doesn’t matter who is carrying the ball for the Gators this week at Alabama, we are not taking our chances against a defense that is only allowing 47 rushing yards per game.

Josh Robinson, RB-Mississippi State at LSU
The Bulldogs must attempt to plug away with Robinson to keep the LSU defense from swarming after quarterback Dak Prescott, but he doesn’t figure to do enough damage to warrant a Week 4 start.

Artavis Scott, WR-Clemson at Florida State
We are not ready to jump on the bandwagon yet, especially after his 6-164-2 performance came at the expense of South Carolina State and the Tigers travel to face a talented Florida State defense.
